The AM-2400 is a well regarded amplifier under vintage HiFi fans. It just has this sweet 7oties sound that is mostly credited to the early and high end Marantz amplifier. The 80 watt rating (40 per channel) is conservative. With the force it was driving our tall JBL speakers and the authority in base let us gess it must be at least a 100 watt it is putting out.
With its phono input and great starting point for your vintage HiFi system, This is one of these amps most people keep a lifetime.
Unit is in great condition, very minor marks on the fascia and some andodisation on the volume knob. The wooden case with black vinyl is spotless.
