The Pioneer SPL-40 has received amazing reviews in the audio community. This unit is labeled “Pioneer Rondo 3000X” as it was also sold in a set called “Rondo”. The turntable is half automatic, belt driven and has an S-shaped tonearm. We fitted a new Shure (by Realistic) NOS cartridge and stylus. A brand new belt has been installed as well.
This units are extremely rare and have a lovely vintage vibe while performing at a level most new deck today cant get to.
