BOSE 301 III Direct/Reflecting Speakers

Iconic BOSE 301 reflecting speakers with the tweeters facing in two different directions.

For a small box, the 301 III series can deliver a whopping 150 watts. They are good for those who have limited space. Bose was famous for their quality and tight tolerances and these speakers are true to that ethos. The crossovers have been matched to each set of drivers for every speaker which gives an extremely tight tolerance of .5 % which is the reason for their famous “ruler flat” frequency response. These have matching pair numbers 990105, as they were selected by Bose to match perfectly.

Cosmetically, I rate then 8 on a 10 scale and being black, still look great.
