Desoldering Wick with Dispenser

This is the perfect helper for a typical restoration job. Taking out components for testing and replacement can be quite difficult. Often suction pumps are not removing all the solder and the normal wick is just a plastic spool that is melted by the heat of the soldering iron.

This dispenser can be held in your hand and pointed to the joint where you need to remove the old solder. The metal tip on the dispenser helps dissipate heat. It wont melt away. A very gentle method of removing components and my preferred way.
