This is commonly known as “M300 Gauge”. This calibration tool is required for correct tape path alignment. If e.g. pinch roller arms on a Nakamichi deck need to be removed or a playbeck head is replaced, this gauge will help you to get the correct alignment. These gauges are made with highest possible precisions and will last a lifetime.
