Sony DVD / HDD Recorder RDR-HXD890

The RDR-HXD890 is an excellent DVD recorder that can be extremely helpful if you plan to digitize your old VHS librarbry. This unit can not also record directly to the DVD drive but also on its built in hard drive.

Besides the recording functionalities it is also an amazing DVD player with 1080p upscaling. It comes with the original remote which gives you access to all the advanced functions this unit provides as well as to stored footage on its harddrive. There are currently a few hours of 15 year old TV recordings on it which will send you back in time. These can be of course deleted by the press of a button.
