We repair all kinds of vintage HiFi gear that includes:

For repairs or service we charge $AUD 100 per hour. Turnaround time is usually two to three weeks. If you want want to cut the queue and shorten that to one week, we offer an express service with an extra fee of $AUD 75.
Replacement of Capacitors in old devices
We do offer this as a service and can do a full capacitor replacement for your deviced. The prices vary just based on complexity of a device. For cassette decks this is also included in our Gold Service. To provide a rough idea about costs below are some examples:
- SONY TC-K555ESJ 3-Head Reference Cassette deck – $850
- Pioneer SA-508 Amplifier – $380
- Technics SL-1200 Turntable $350

Calibration of tapes and reel to reel machines
We are equipped to do a full tape path alignment and calibration of playback, recording and Dolby for any cassette decks and the same for reel to reel machines. Depending on what you are looking for prices vary:
- Speed and Playback Level Calibration $100
- Speed, Playback and Recording Level with Bias for one type $180
- Speed, Playback and Recording Level with Bias for three types and Dolby $250
What we do not repair
What we do not repair is any “modern” equipment. Below is a list to provide an idea where we would not be able to help:
- Home Theatre Amplifiers (any 5.1, 7.1 surround amp we wont touch)
- Bluetooth Boomboxes
- Laptops
- Gaming Consoles
- Video Cameras
- In general anything made after 2000 better ask before brining it in.
